Christian Fischer is a founder and Managing Partner of CFM. He joined from an M&A advisory boutique, where he was a Partner and spent 11 years supporting transactions in the financial services sector. He started his professional career at UBS where he spent 13 years in various finance and M&A functions, including head of finance and controlling for UBS corporate banking and member of the management committee.
Christian advised on numerous M&A transactions and related engagements in the financial services industry in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the UK, the Channel Islands, Germany, France, the Benelux countries, the US, the Middle East and in Asia, among others. His market and industry expertise include private, commercial and retail banking, asset management, brokerage, insurance, debt-collection, trust and fiduciary services. Furthermore, Christian has a strong track-record in transaction support/due diligence, company valuation, business planning and modelling, market entry and strategic options analysis as well as financial accounting and controlling, development of MIS systems and IT project management.
Christian is an INSEAD alumnus and holder of a BA in Economics and Business Administration. He is fluent in German, English and French.
